I also got a kids-sized folding table, a folding "breakfast in bed" tray that will be great for my laptop, a bulletin board for my new office, and a bunch of little random things. $20 for everything! Although next time I have to be more careful about what I buy - since it's by the pound the table may have been more than I usually would have spent, but the lighter stuff probably made up for it!Vintage Nice N' Neat Kids Shorts

I got these and a pair of Buster Brown pants (tags still on!) for $1 each at an antique store that was closing. I'm sad to see them go - I also got my mushroom canisters from my kitchen from them!I am going to try to bring my camera with me more, because there are a lot of things that are really cool but I don't need or are way overpriced. Like this super duper cool vintage Disney Toy box. It was very 50's and very cool!
However at $50 I didn't QUITE think it qualified as a score! Still, very cool to see it and I'm sure when it goes on sale someone will grab it!Happy Thrifting!

Have you checked out the new thrift shop that's by King Soopers on Quail and Colfax? I'm curious to see what you find there.
ReplyDeleteI haven't yet, Jenny! Do you know what it's called? I'll have to check it out when I'm allowed to shop again ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure it has a name other than "Thrift Store" - Matt said it was better than he thought, but he looks for totally different stuff than you. Go "grocery shopping" and just stop in! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat finds!
ReplyDeleteI bookmarked your blog so I can keep track of all the thrifty goodies you find. We should do some thrifting together!
