I LOVE when Goodwill has their half-off Saturdays! Yes, it's kind of a zoo (next time I hope to NOT bring my kids - they were really good but definitely make it harder!), but there are SUCH great deals! Today I got the above 7 vintage Disney records for $.50 each. I am hoping to hang them up in my daughters room - she LOVES her Disney movies!
Just yesterday Ashley at
Dingaling Vintage asked what we would ask for from the Thrift Store Genie and one of my wishes was for more vintage Fisher Price playsets. These were the same ones my sister, brother and I played with as kids and I love that my kids like to play with them too. Well ask and ye shall receive because I got this Family Farm set and all the fixin's for just $2.50! What! I also got a little mechanics garage in MINT condition for $1.50. Too bad I have girls so I don't have any of the cars!
One of my other wishes is for some Burke or
Saarinen tulip chairs to go with my new tulip table! I do love the vintage chairs I found on the SAME DAY as I found the table (at a totally different shop!), but it would be super cool to have a matched set. So there you go, Universe! Send me some cheap tulip chairs!
